Romblon State University takes part in the region-wide simultaneous rollout of the LBP PISO Account, an initiative of the Commission on Higher Education through UniFAST in partnership with the Land Bank of the Philippines, aimed at modernizing and streamlining the direct delivery of financial assistance to student beneficiaries across Higher Education Institutions.

The Region-Wide Simultaneous Launch and Roll-Out of the LBP PISO Account is currently taking place at the RSU Quadrangle, alongside participating Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the region.

This initiative, led by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) through UniFAST, in partnership with the Land Bank of the Philippines, marks a significant step toward a more efficient, transparent, and direct delivery of financial assistance to student beneficiaries nationwide.

Present in today’s activity are university officials, our partners from the Land Bank of the Philippines, faculty members, and our dear students, with the program facilitated by the RSU Admission, Registration, Scholarships, and Grants Office.

Under this initiative, all beneficiaries of the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) are required to maintain individual LBP accounts to ensure the direct crediting of their stipends.

Serving as both an official launching and LBP Account Orientation, today’s activity aims to guide student-grantees through a smooth and informed transition to the new system.

This morning session caters to students from the College of Education (CED) and College of Business and Accountancy (CBA), while the afternoon session will welcome participants from the College of Computing, Multimedia Arts, and Digital Innovation (CCMADI), College of Engineering and Technology (CET), and College of Arts and Sciences (CAS).
