Iloilo City— RSU, through its Innovation Office, attended the ITSO Presidents’ Summit and General Assembly 2026 held on March 25 in Iloilo City, marking the 15th anniversary of the Philippine Technology and Innovation Support Centers (TISC) network.

The event gathered representatives from SUCs and HEIs nationwide to strengthen collaboration in innovation, intellectual property, and technology transfer. RSU was represented by Innovation Office Director Engr. Jane Faith F. Falceso and REDi Finance Officer Ms. Aira F. Garcia.

During the summit, RSU received its second Platinum Award, recognizing its continued excellence in intellectual property development and innovation initiatives. RSU extends its heartfelt gratitude to its inventors, researchers, and the entire university community whose dedication and commitment made this recognition possible.

The university’s leadership, headed by President Dr. Merian P. Catajay-Mani and VPREDI Prof. Dr. Eddie G. Fetalvero, likewise expressed their appreciation for the collective efforts behind this achievement. The recognition highlights RSU’s ongoing efforts to support research commercialization and contribute to the country’s growing innovation ecosystem.
