Romblon State University (RSU) proudly congratulates Allain Josh D. Fernando of the RSU Santa Fe Campus for being named a Regional Awardee of the Young Farmer’s Challenge (YFC) MIMAROPA 2025.

As a regional awardee, Fernando will receive an additional ₱150,000 in funding to further strengthen and expand his agri-enterprise. He will also advance to the national level of the competition, where he will compete for an additional ₱300,000 in project funding.

The Young Farmer’s Challenge, a flagship program that supports youth-led agri-enterprises, recognizes innovative, sustainable, and high-impact agricultural initiatives that contribute to food security and rural development. Fernando’s recognition reflects not only his dedication to agripreneurship, but also RSU’s commitment to nurturing young leaders in agriculture and rural innovation.
