The Commission on Higher Education – International Affairs Service (CHED IAS) is now accepting applications for the 2027 Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Scholarship Program. The scholarship offers qualified government employees, faculty members, and staff of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) the opportunity to pursue master's and doctoral degree programs in leading universities in the Republic of Korea. The program aims to develop future leaders who can contribute to the socio-economic development of their institutions and communities. Interested applicants with permanent status and preferably under 40 years old must submit their applications to CHED IAS on or before June 30, 2026, together with the required documentary requirements. The scholarship supports advanced education, international exposure, and capacity building aligned with sustainable development goals.
Offered in partnership with leading universities in the Republic of Korea, the scholarship program provides opportunities to pursue master's and doctoral degree programs aimed at developing future leaders who can contribute to the socio-economic development of their institutions, communities, and countries.
