The Faculty Development Program under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme is now accepting applications from faculty members of ASEAN-based and Global South universities.

The Call for Applications to the Faculty Development Program under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme is now open. This international professional development opportunity, offered by the Government of India, will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) from September 14 to 25, 2026.

The Faculty Development Program is designed for faculty members of ASEAN-based and Global South universities, providing participants with opportunities for professional and academic advancement through specialized training. The program seeks to strengthen teaching excellence, foster international collaboration, and enhance participants' knowledge and competencies through engagement with one of India's premier institutions of higher learning.

Selected participants will receive support from the Government of India, including:
-Round-trip economy airfare
-Gratis visa
-Local hospitality and accommodation

The two-week program offers an enriching platform for faculty members to exchange ideas, learn innovative practices, and establish international academic networks that contribute to institutional development and global engagement.

Applications may be submitted through the ITEC Portal on or before August 14, 2026. Interested applicants are encouraged to carefully review the program details, eligibility requirements, and terms and conditions through the official ITEC website before completing their application.
