The RSU community, together with partner NGOs and agencies, comes together for the ceremonial signing of the Pledge of Commitment and Memorandum of Agreement in support of the collaborative project, Bolunterismo Laban sa Basura.

Spearheaded by the RSU Volunteerism Unit, the RSU Special Projects and Advocacy Office, and the RSU Student Volunteers Organization, this initiative unites various sectors in a shared mission to build a cleaner, more sustainable community.

Joining this milestone event are representatives from the Philippine Guardians Brotherhood Incorporated, Philippine Eagles of Romblon Marble Region Romblon Maharlikans, Odiongan Municipal Police Station, Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office, Department of the Interior and Local Government Romblon Provincial Office, Municipal Association of Barangay Captains, and the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Odiongan, alongside stakeholders from local associations, civic groups, and the media.

As partners, they commit to promoting environmental responsibility through proper waste management, environmental awareness, and sustainable practices; actively participating in the project launching and related activities; and strengthening collaboration and coordination to ensure effective planning, implementation, and communication.

This partnership is expected to strengthen participation, as well as maintain order and accountability by upholding cleanliness, discipline, and responsible conduct among organization members and communities.

Together, we move as one community in advancing volunteerism and environmental stewardship, proving that collective action can lead to lasting change.
